A recent AIS InSight report released on December 10th showed that U.S. bankruptcy filings decreased in the month of November to 118,106, down 9.03% from the previous month.

American InfoSource – using its proprietary report containing data derived solely from the Federal Bankruptcy Court System – indicates that November’s filings marked the lowest monthly total since February of this year.

However, bankruptcies were still up 2.71% from November 2009, keeping filings on pace to reach a year-end total of almost 1.6 million.
