After a claim has been filed by AIS, the legal team tracks the case and funds through case completion. AIS ensures an electronic receipt has been received from the court and posts a verified claim number.
We review and respond to objections and inquiries from the trustee, attorney or courts. Additionally, AIS reviews daily Electronic Bankruptcy Notice (EBN) email, mail and Trustee Distribution Reports (TDR).
All Trustee Distribution information is logged into the Claims Management System (CMS). Cases are monitored daily for unpaid terminated cases, unpaid TDRs. All money received comes in through an insured postal lockbox or via direct electronic funds transfer (ACH) into client trust accounts.
Payments are then reconciled to the bank accounts activity and recorded in the accounting system to establish the asset and related liability to the client. After the process is completed, the funds received are remitted to each client based upon a contractual payment schedule (i.e. weekly, or monthly). Remittance reports are also provided.
