Pricing
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for attending. Participants are only responsible for hotel fees and airfare. American InfoSource will cover all other expenses including conference materials, meals and group outings.

We have filled our fall agenda with thought-provoking bankruptcy experts and industry leaders.

Michael H. Meyer - Ch.13 Trustee, Fresno, CA
Mr. Meyer is a founding partner of the Meyer Law Group and works as Of Counsel for the firm. He primarily practices in the area of consumer bankruptcy, with a focus on debtor rights in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. Mr. Meyer has over 30 years of experience in the field of consumer bankruptcy law. In 2007, Mr. Meyer was appointed to run the Chapter 13 Trustee Office in Fresno and handle all Chapter 13 cases filed in Fresno and Bakersfield. Mr. Meyer regularly serves on panels and gives speeches at seminars on current consumer bankruptcy topics.

Rick A. Yarnall - Ch.13 Trustee, Las Vegas, NV
Rick Yarnall is one of two Chapter 13 Standing Trustees for Las Vegas, Nevada. He was appointed October 1, 2004. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Yarnall received his B.S. in Business Administration degree in 1970 and his JD degree in 1973, both from the University of South Dakota. In 1988 he became a sole practitioner in Yarnall law Office where his practice was limited exclusively to bankruptcy. Mr. Yarnall was a founding director and past president of National Association of Chapter 12 Trustees (1991-1992); past president of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (from 1998-1999); and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy.

Robert C. Furr - Ch. 7 Trustee, Boca Raton, FL - immediate past President, NABT
A panel trustee for the U.S. Trustee Program for the Southern District of Florida, Mr. Furr regularly acts as trustee in chapter 7, 11 and 12 cases throughout the region. Mr. Furr is board certified in consumer and bankruptcy law by the American Board of Certification. His experience includes both state court civil litigation and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Furr is the immediate past president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He has testified before Congress and the National Bankruptcy Review Commission on bankruptcy matters and the legislative process. A frequent lecturer, Mr. Furr has spoken to various professional groups and authored numerous articles on insolvency and bankruptcy.

James W. Boyd – Ch.7 Trustee, Traverse City, MI - President, NABT
Mr. Boyd is a member of panel of Chapter 7 trustees, Western District of Michigan. Responsible for administering Chapter 7 cases in Northwest lower Michigan (approximately 1000 per year), including large assets cases in excess of $20 million. He served as an operating Chapter 11 trustee, operating Chapter 7 trustee, or attorney for operating trustee in many cases. Mr. Boyd is the current president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the only trustee organization in the nation.

Mary Beth Ausbrooks - Board Member, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys
Mary Beth Ausbrooks practices in Nashville and is a partner in the consumer debtor firm of Rothschild & Ausbrooks, PLLC.  She is a board certified Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist and has been certified as such by the Tennessee Supreme Court and the American Board of Certification.  She has served as the Tennessee State Chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and presently is a member of its Board of Directors.  She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the American Board of Certification.


Lawrence A. Friedman – General Counsel, American InfoSource
Friedman is the former Director of the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees, serving in the position from March 2002 through April 30, 2005. Prior to his appointment as Director, Friedman engaged in private practice of law and served as a panel trustee in the Eastern District of Michigan, where he administered over 10,000 bankruptcy cases. At the time of his Justice Department appointment, he served as president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Friedman is the founder of the Regulatory Compliance and Government Affairs program at American InfoSource.

John D. McMickle- JDM Public Strategies
John McMickle founded JDM Public Strategies, LLC where he currently serves as President of the firm. McMickle recently entered a strategic partnership with AIS to monitor state and federal legislative developments and provide strategic counsel on issues associated with bankruptcy rules, debt purchase and debt settlement.
From 1995-2001, John McMickle was a Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, playing  an instrumental role in drafting the bankruptcy reform legislation enacted in 2005. After leaving the Hill, John McMickle served for several years as a partner in the government affairs department of a major international law firm. Mr. McMickle received a B.A. from the University of Tennessee in 1989 and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1994..
