Payment Processing
After a claim has been filed by American InfoSource, the case and funds are monitored through case completion. EBN email, mail, and Trustee Distribution Reports are reviewed daily to guarantee the correct distribution of client funds. All money received comes in through an insured postal lock box that is a client-specific bank account. American InfoSource then remits payment to the client on a monthly basis.
For large creditors, Chapter 13 trustees combine payments for multiple claims into a single check remitted monthly. They will provide a multiple page payment detail list that includes a breakdown of the single check amount and the amount related to each individual claim related to the creditor. In order to accurately post payment back to our clients, we process payment detail list to ensure each account where a claim was filed is properly updated to the correct balance.

Mail Management
Eliminates all mail associated with the bankruptcy process for our clients by safely capturing, indexing and archiving each piece of correspondence based on three primary actions: Scan & Store, Scan & Forward, and Scan & Shred. This solution offers front-end mailroom services for sorting and preparing incoming mail for scanning. Once the scanning phase is complete, the original documents are then stored onsite in our state-of-the-art facility, returned to the client or destroyed. American InfoSource complies with federal statutes and regulations and ensures the secure disposal of all shredded materials. Mail facility features ID badge access, perimeter monitoring, and CCTV video surveillance.
Documents are linked to the corresponding bankruptcy case and available to view through our Mail On Demand feature. This gives clients easy access to images through a dedicated client page within the AIS Online system.
