Bankruptcy Notification

Delivers notifications for any of your accounts that have filed for bankruptcy, along with updates on all relevant bankruptcy events including Dismissal or Discharge, Denial of Discharge, Conversion, Reopen, 341 Meetings, and Trustee Updates. Account number is included with all notices, allowing clients to accurately status accounts.

A Store and Forward service allows the client to transmit a file of accounts to be housed at AIS and processed daily to identify any accounts that have filed for bankruptcy. In addition, your EBN feed can be assigned to American InfoSource and appended with critical information such as social security number and debtor address. All records identified as bankrupt are transmitted to the client, along with any relevant bankruptcy information.

Clients with smaller portfolios can also provide a weekly batch file to be scrubbed against the AIS proprietary database, enhanced with relevant data, and returned using a client-preferred delivery method. Each service uses our proprietary matching Logic –SmartMatch– which increases accuracy of matches and reduces false positive hit ratio.

Event Tracker  - NEW

American InfoSource Event Tracker alerts client electronically when an event has taken place, within any bankruptcy case, concerning a specified client account. This completely automated process reduces the costs of manual, labor-intensive searches and allows creditors to take action in a timelier manner. Applying the same proprietary system used for bankruptcy notification, American InfoSource monitors cases weekly for client-specified events and provides electronic notices of events within seven days of appearing on the docket.

Pending Bankruptcy Confirmation

A proven process for substantiating bankruptcy filings. The process consists of a basic bankruptcy scrub of account holders who have indicated they are “bankrupt” to the Collections Team.
